Donald passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2024, shortly after midnight at his home In Caribou, Maine at the age of 41. Donald was born May 7,1982.
Donald adored his wife and daughter. He loved his family and enjoyed making memories with his aunts and uncles. He was funny and always had a smile on his face. He thought the best of everyone and enjoyed being around people. Family was everything to him and it was obvious by his relationship with his loving wife and daughter. In their eyes, there could be no greater husband or dad. He loved all outdoor sports: hunting fishing, riding his four wheeler, and camping. He loved animals!
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jenny Chamberlain McBreairty, and his daughter, Bailey Lynn McBreairty both of Caribou, Maine. He is also survived by his mother, Marie McBreairty Thomas and his step dad, Earl Thomas of St. Francis, Maine. One brother, Brock McBreairty and his wife Amy McBreairty both of Van Buren, Maine; Two sisters, Melinda Marie McBreairty and her fiancé, Ron Bouchard of Waterville, Maine; Anne Marie Thomas of Madawaska, Maine. Donald has many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved him dearly.
He was predeceased by his father, Gene R. Cyr of Casper, Wyoming on January 1, 2024, his grandparents, Donald and Irene McBreairty of Allagash, Maine and Albert and Irene Cyr of St. Francis, Maine.
There will be no funeral service but there will be a private memorial service in the spring at the Allagash cemetery.
