James M. Cyr, 61, died unexpectedly at Northern Maine Medical Center on January 12th, 2024. He was born in Biddeford, ME on March 30th,1962. He was the son of Conrad and Bertha (Caron) Cyr.
James was a dedicated employee at Sylvio Paradis and Son in Frenchville, ME for over 20 years, where he worked as the parts manager. In his spare time, James was an avid fan of Star Trek, watching his Boston Red Sox, and vacationing on the coast.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Susan Newman Cyr, as well as two sons, Geoffrey Thomas of Farmington, ME and James Michael Jr. of Saco, ME. James was predeceased by his son Joshua Michael on January 21st, 2020. A memorial service will be held at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha on Thursday, January 18th, 2024 at 10am. Friends and family may gather at this time for condolences. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choice."
