Adrien Cyr

St. David at Fort Kent

Adrien Cyr passed away October 8, 2014  at NMMC.  He was born October 11, 1926 in St. David, ME to Robert and Elise Clavet Cyr.  He served in the US Army from 1945-1947.  He enjoyed being a potato and dairy farmer and worked various jobs until retiring from Fraser Paper, Ltd. in 1989.

Adrien married Aline Cyr on October 27, 1953 and together they have three children: Donald of Lakeland, FL., Monica of Augusta, ME., and Robert and wife Kristy  of San Antonio, TX.  He delighted in his two grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Connor of San Antonio.  He is survived by one sister, Mildred Emond of Oxford, MA.  and numerous nieces  and nephews.

He is predeceased by three brothers: Remi, Paul, and Alphy and three sisters Ida Cyr, Marthe Daigle, and Maimie Martel.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00am. on October 13 at St. David Catholic Church with burial in the parish cemetery

Friends and relatives may give their condolences to the family at St. David Church from 9 to 9:45 until time of service.
