Skip was an outdoorsman and enjoyed snowmobiling and riding ATV.  He was a Maine State Guide and loved hunting, fishing and the annual family camping trips in the Allagash wilderness.  Skip loved animals and owned several beloved dogs Slate, Sammy, Scottie and Arin all who predeceased him. Throughout his life he enjoyed drawing, woodworking and he even authored and illustrated several children’s books.

Skip also gave back to the community.   He was the Director of the St. Luce Food Pantry for twenty years and served on the Board of Directors of the Saint John Valley Associates.  Skip served on the Frenchville Town Counsel and the Fraser Central Safety Committee.
