Bertrand L Cyr

Bertrand L. Cyr, 76, of Bristol, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Bristol Hospital.

He was the husband of the late Jacqueline (Ouellette) Cyr.

He was born on July 28, 1939, in Madawaska, ME, the son of the late Levite and Annette (Lagasse) Cyr. He served in the US Army. Bert loved to fish and was an avid NY Yankee fan. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Jean Baptiste French Club and the French Model Club.

He is survived by a son Jeffrey and his wife Tara (Rich) Cyr. His grandchildren, Tyler and Jordan Cyr and Christine Cyr and her husband Dave; his great-grandchildren Sophia and Levi . He also leaves, 2 sisters Joan Ayotte and Martha Soucie ; 4 brothers Lionel, Ron, Roland and Don Cyr and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Fern and Gilman and a sister Theresa.

Memorial calling hours were held on Monday August 3, 2015 from 5 -8 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Services and burial will be held in the St. Agatha Lower Cemetery, St. Agatha Maine on August 15 at 10:00am.
