Camille J. Plourde, 89 went to his eternal rest on June 6, at a health care facility in Ft. Kent, after a brief illness. He was born in St. Agatha, on April 25, 1937, son of Lucien and Isabelle (Albert) Plourde.
Camille was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member. He had strong work ethics in logging, a perfectionist in his carpentry work and meticulous with his gardening. He enjoyed selling and delivering his vegetables that he had grown to his dedicated friends and customers. A gardener's place is now in a heavenly garden, cared for and at rest.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rinette (Deschaine) of 67 years, two sons; Lewis (Karen) Plourde and Brian Plourde of St. Agatha, three daughters; Linda (Ronnie) Picard, Cecile Plourde of Frenchville, and Therese Plourde (companion Tom), of Lewiston, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings; John, Mark, Yvon, Geraldine, Rolande, Cecile, Irma and Dorothy.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:00 am at the St. Agatha Catholic Church. Family and friends may offer condolences to the family from 9:00 am until time of mass at the church. Interment will be at the St. Agatha, Lower Cemetery.
