Carl Sirois
May 9, 1966 – June 5, 2021
Carl Sirois made his last wildly inappropriate comment or recited his last 80’s music lyric on Saturday, June 5 with a big grin in anticipation of your reaction. It was also his father Luc and maternal grandfather Real Simard’s birthday.
Carl, 55, was born and immediately dubbed “the golden child” to Luc and Lise Sirois in Edmundston, NB Canada on May 9, 1966. He is survived by Mother Lise Sirois of Frenchville, his love Lynn Caron of over 13 years and his constant buddy Zoey. Additionally, he is survived by his first partner in crime – his brother Mike, his crazy sister Debbie, (husband Steve) and of course the baby of the family – Sandy (husband Tony) and a variety of nieces and nephews (Elise, Emma, Wyatt, Mason, Lucas, Mary, Renee, and Corinne) that have been highly encouraged to embellish the memory of Mon Oncle Carl. Carl is also survived by his paternal Grandmother Cecile Sirois, and many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins on both on Mom and Dad’s side of the family. He was predeceased by his father Luc Sirois, aunts Diane Sirois and Lucille Chasse,Uncle Louis Simard, a special nephew Chad Sirois and his maternal grandparents Real and Germaine Simard and paternal grandfather Leonide Sirois
Carl graduated from Wisdom Jr. Sr High School – Class of 1984! He joined the Air Force shortly after graduation, and proudly served his country and continued working civil service until his retirement. He enjoyed meeting new people, trying new foods learning the language and culture of each of his assignments international and here in the States. Whether it was Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, in Rota, Spain or getting lucky in Kentucky, Carl made friends wherever he was. Half a dozen or so of these folks might even speak of him fondly if pressed. Carl died knowing that Kiss is the best band, John Wayne is the baddest man on the planet, and that chicks dig Trans Am cars and Harleys. Carl loved his cars, his Harley and anything that went “BRAAAGH”.
Per Carl’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral mass. Carl requested a graveside memorial where his remains will be buried with Mom and Dad with military honors on Saturday, July 31 at 10:00am. at the St. Agatha Upper Cemetery. Feel free to be a few minutes late – Carl always was!
In lieu of flowers, Carl wished that Lynn was helped with expenses incurred during his illness. We are providing a Go fund me website https://gofund.me/932a7641 to help her heal and begin a life without Carl.
