Cecil J. Dugal
Madawaska
Cecil Joseph Dugal, 87, passed away February 21, 2019 at a Madawaska Nursing Home. He was born October 23, 1931 the son of George Emile and Germaine (Boucher) Dugal.
He was a member of the American Legion in Madawaska. Cecil was also a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and a Legionnaire. He served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. After being discharged from the service, he began working at Fraser Paper from 1954 until retirement in 1989. He had a love for photography, painting, coins and stamp collecting along with many other interests.
He is survived by two sons, Robert and Andrew, both of Madawaska; one daughter Lisa and her husband John Kiley of New Gloucester, ME.; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Chelsea, Alyssa, Stephanie, Emily, Katie and Kyle and four great grandchildren, Kamryn, Madison, Maci and Myles; one brother, Leo James Dugal of St. Agatha and two sisters Raymonde Vanier of Quebec and Roberta Perron and husband Louis of Lewiston, ME; three sister-in-laws, Deloris (Chasse) Dugal, Ginette (Proulx) Dugal and Ginette (Albert) Dugal all of Madawaska, one brother-in-law Andre Fullum of Quebec and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and his wife Claudette of 50 years; three brothers Gabriel, George, and Gilles, and a sister Pierrette (Dugal) Fullum.
Friends and Relatives may call the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha, Monday February 25 from 6:00 to 8:00pm and Tuesday 8:30 till 9:30am. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 10:00 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Burial in the Madawaska Cemetery in the Spring.
