Claudette Picard Beaulieu

Claudette Picard Beaulieu passed away at a Frenchville Health Care facility on September 10 at the age of 84. She was the born October 17, 1934, the 11th and last child of Frank B. and Odelie Lucas Picard of Edmundston NB. She was predeceased by all her family including her husband George of Madawaska, in 2010 with whom she was married 55 years, and daughter Constance in 2016. She had Alzheimer’s and fought it with all her might, still knowing everyone at her time of death. She was strong, smart and artistic, and never did anything half way. She graduated college at 42, and was a multi grade teacher at Patrick Therriault School in Sinclair, and later became the teaching principal. Her strong work ethic and love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were very important to her. She is survived by her son Michel, daughters Marguerite Beaulieu Dow and her companion Ken Gibbs, and Madeleine Theriault and her husband George, grandchildren Jason, Eli, Ian, Donovan, Alison, Daecia, and Lee, and great grandchildren, Angelique, Jordyn, Taylor, Evamae, Adaline, Emily, Owen, Isabella, and Ophelia. Friends & Family may give their condolences at the church at 9:15 until time of Service. There will be a mass to celebrate her life on September 14 at 10am at St Thomas Aquinas church in Madawaska.
