Obituary
Madawaska, – Claudette (Malenfant) Plourde 77, passed away December 8, 2022 at the Northern Maine Medical Center. Claudette was the daughter of Albert Malenfant and Doria Plourde. She is predeceased by both parents, brother, Roland, and four sisters, Lorette, Verna, Annette and Loraine.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Norman Plourde, children, Diane Davis and Gary Plourde (wife Amy), grandchildren, Alexandra Hughey and Nathan Plourde, great grandchildren, Lucien, Jensan. Claudette is also survived by her two sisters, Georgette and Rina.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Madawaska. Family and friends may offer condolences at the church from 9:15 to 9:45. A private burial will be held at the VA cemetery in Caribou, Maine.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Northern Maine Medical Center for the care they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Edgar Paradis Cancer Foundation.
