Constance “Connie”(Dumond) Guimond, of St. Agatha, ME died peacefully on November 6, 2023 at the age of 85 at a health care facility in Madawaska after a long battle with Dementia. Her family is comforted by the knowledge that Connie is living her fifth day and has been welcomed into the arms of Jesus Christ, along with her pre-deceased husband of 58 years Phil Guimond.

Connie was born on April 17,1938, in St. Agatha, ME, the only child at the time to parents of Onezime and Helen (Ringuette) Dumond. Her childhood and young adulthood were spent in St. Agatha ME. In 1956 after high school Connie moved to Connecticut with her soon-to-be husband Phil working at Fox Department store. She moved back to St. Agatha, ME to marry Phil in July of 1957.  The years proceeding Connie would move with her husband and children a couple more times from Maine to Connecticut until finally moving back permanently June 19,1980, taking residency at her parents’ home. During the years of living in Maine and Connecticut she raised two boys, her oldest Ronnie Guimond whom married Lisa and resides in Manassas Park, VA with their two boys, Cullen and Ryanand. Steven Guimond whom married  Lynn who at the time resided in St. Agatha, ME and now resides in Marana, AZ  and their children Seth, Elizabeth, and Andrew.  Connie loved her grandchildren and enjoyed visiting with them whether she traveled to Virginia or down the road.

Connie lived a full and happy life. She was involved with the Ladies of St. Anne, enjoyed playing cards with her friends, cooking for family, baking, music, and visiting her family. Connie had one brother, Patrick Freeman who lives in Biddeford ME.

She was predeceased by her parents, Onezime and Helen Dumond and brother-in-law Ken Guimond and his wife Bev, brother-in-law Leon Guimond and his wife Patricia, brother-in-law Raymond Guimond and his wife Patricia and nephews Kevin and Gary Guimond and dear friends Fernand and Gilam Albert.  A service will be held for Connie at St. Agatha Catholic Church in St.  Agatha ME, on November 11, 2023 at 10:00 am.  Visitation will be the same day Nov.11 at 8:30 a.m. at the Michaud Funeral Home until service. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
