Euclide Soucy, 97 died peacefully October 24, 2014 at a Van Buren Health Facility.
He was born in Grand Isle May 24, 1917, the son of Patrick and Suzanne “Lavoie” Soucy. He was a member of 3rd and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and was a Fireman Chief for 20 years. He loved music and liked to play saxaphone. He is survived by one son Roland and his wife Rejeanne of Presque Isle, Me. three daughters Joanne Buczek of Grand Isle, Me. Jeannine & her husband Jean-Baptiste Lavoie of Edmundston, N.-B. and Patsy Soucy of Southington. Ct. Four Grand Children Sandra & husband Tim Nadeau of Madawaska, Me. Jennifer & husband Tom Levesque of Fort Kent, Me., Lisa Lavoie of Edmundston, N.B. & Lynn Lavoie & husband Sylvain Boutot and 5 great-grand children Alex & Tommy Nadeau, Noah & Liam Levesque and Jeremy Boutot. One Brother Gerard Soucy & his wife Rina of Madawaska, Me. He had several nieces and nephews also. He was predeceased by his parents and his two wives Eva Beaulieu and Annabelle Theriault and his son Norman Soucy survived by daughter in- law Jackie Soucy of Madawaska, Me.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Gerard-Mont Carmel on Wednesday October 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. James Plourde Officiating. There will be no calling hours at the Funeral Home. Friends and Relatives may give their condolences to the Family at the Church from 9 to 10 a.m. till time of Services.
