    Eugene J. Michaud, 72 died at his residence on Aug. 27, 2018 after a long illness.  He was born in Madawaska, Oct. 10, 1945, the son of Hector and Marie Antoinette 'Chasse' Michaud. He was a member of the American Legions Post 147 of Madawaska, American Legion Riders and the V.F.W.  of Presque Isle, Me. and Country Lakers music group. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline 'Chasse',  and two sons Doug  of Round Rock, Texas and Dennis  of Poland, Me. and Pamela of Frenchville, Me. and Sonya of St. Agatha, Me. and 7 grand Children. Four brothers  Reno of Buffalo, N.Y., Hector Jr. of St. David, Me, Jean Guys  and Gary both of Grand Isle, Me. and Two sisters Rose Cote of Grand Isle, and Linda Lavoie of  Madawaska,  He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers Luellen and Leo James.

Friends and relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha on Thursday Aug. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m. till 9:45.  A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Agatha Catholic Church at 10:00a.m on Friday Aug. 31, 2018.  Burial will be in the V.A.
