Fernand J. Paradis, 81, passed away February 25, 2024 in Bangor, ME. He was born in Frenchville, ME, April 8, 1942, the son of Romeo and Blandine (Albert) Paradis.
He worked for Fraser Paper for 40 years before retiring. Fern loved to play cards and cribbage with his friends at the American Legion.
Fernand is survived by one daughter LeeAnne Paradis of Biddeford, ME, and granddaughter Daija Paradis of Yarmouth, ME, one son Kevin Paradis and wife Becca of Kennebunk, ME., brothers Norman Paradis and wife Cathy of New Hampshire, Robert Paradis and wife Mary Ann of Sarasota, Florida, Sisters, Jackie Sjoden and husband Jack of Marysville, Washington, Mary Ouellette and husband Frank of Connecticut, Sandra Lizotte and husband Yves of Madawaska, Tina Pelletier and husband Dan of Madawaska.
He was predeceased by his parents Romeo and Blandine Paradis, one son Chad Paradis, two sisters Marcella Weatherhead and Margaret Paradis, and two brothers Valier Paradis, and Michael Paradis.
A graveside service and burial will be at St. Luce Cemetery in Frenchville. Dates will be announced at a later date.
