Gaetane Lagasse, 84, passed away suddenly at her home December 20, 2018. She was born August 4, 1934 in Edmundston, N.B. the daughter of Hubald and Lina ‘Dube’ Bouchard. 

She had a passion for baking, knitting, crocheting, gardening, reading and puzzle making.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one son Albert ‘Bert’ of Madawaska; three daughters Louise & husband Danny Pelletier of Millinocket, Me, Patricia & husband Robert Morneault of St. Jacques, N.B., and Nancy & husband John Morin of Columbia, CT.; grandchildren Phillip and Veronique Morneault, Pamela Sweeney, Victoria.  Alex, and Christine Morin; 7 great-grandchildren Emma Pelletier, Chloe, Elody and William Morneault , Eric Levesque, Ava and Noah Sweeney; two brothers Lionel Bouchard of CT., and Robert Bouchard of Charlsbourg, Quebec; one sister Jeannine Bouchard of Degelis, Quebec; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Hubald and mother Lina; husband Clarence Lagasse; one grandson Matthew Pelletier and one great-grand-daughter Rosalie Levesque; 2 brothers Gerald and Albert; two sisters Geraldine Morin of St. Joseph, N.B. and Jacqueline Landry of Quebec.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Monday, December 24, 2018 at the St. David Church. Family and Friends may call at Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha from 8:00am-9:30am. on Monday before the service. Burial will be in the Spring in the St. David Cemetery.
