Germaine Corriveau, 90 died peacefully surrounded by her family at a Madawaska Health Facility on Jan. 29, 2017. She was born in Frenchville, Maine Oct. 22, 1926 the daughter of Patrick and Anna 'Blanchette' Michaud. She was a member of the American Legion Unit 145 of Frenchville, Immaculate Conception of St. Joseph Church and Long Lake Rod and Gun Club. She is survived by three sons Gilbert of Sinclair, ME., Paul L. and his wife Marilyn of Cambridge, Mass, Joel and his wife Diane of Methuen, Mass., three daughters Marie Jeanne and her husband Andre Picard of Sinclair, Me, Rita and Her husband Gilman Roy of Micco, Florida, and Jeannette Peterson of Stockholm, Me., 16 grandchildren and 27 great grand children and 7 great great grandchildren. One brother Richard and his wife Carol of Middle Town, Conn. Five sisters Winnie Collin of Bristol, Conn., Aurela Legere of Sanford, Me. Sylvia Kessel of South Paris , Me., Sr. Juliette Michaud of Portland, Me., Norma Plourde of Marion, Ohio, and Theresa & her husband Douglas Couture of Forestville, Conn. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Corriveau in 1993, her parents, four sisters Martha and Lucie and Gilberte, and Normande, two brothers Renault and Ronald. Friends and relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha Thursday Feb. 2, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday Feb. 3, from 8:30 am till 9:45. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00a.m. Friday at the St. Joseph Church in Sinclair with Rev. Kent Ouellette officiating. Burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Wing at TAMC in Presque Isle, or Edgar Paradis Cancer Fund or Church Renovation Fund.
