Gizelle (Caron) Cyr

St. David-Gizelle Cyr, 92, passed away at a Madawaska Health Care Center on August 23, 2025.  She was born in Saint Honore, Quebec, on March 29, 1933, daughter of Joseph and Anna (Caron) Perreault.

Gizelle was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.

She is survived by four sons, Joseph and Carolyn of Frenchville; Michael of Winslow, Maine; Paul of St. Agatha, Maine; Larry and his companion, Heidi Shawly of Eddington, Maine, Irene, Julien, Gilles, Yves, Benoit and Jules.

She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Cyr Sr., two daughters, Helen and Kathy, one son Dean, one sister Therese, and four brothers, Rock, Claude, Laurien and Julienne.

Funeral Mass will be held at the St. David Catholic Church at 10:00am on September 2, 2025. Relatives and friends may call at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha on September 2, at 8:00am to 9:30am before the Mass on September 2. Interment will be held at the Parish cemetery immediately following the Mass.
