Jacqueline M Ouellette

Jacqueline M. Ouellette, 84, died peacefully on October 23, 2014 at a Frenchville Health Care facility.She was born on September 23, 1930, in Madawaska, the daughter of Arthur J. and Anita (Collin) Ouellette.  She was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters (Recording

Secretary for 40 years) and Union de St. Jean Baptiste.  She attended Dewey School and Wisdom High School.  She was a Daughter of Wisdom for many years where she served as a nurse in New York and Virginia.  When her mother became ill, Jacqueline returned home to care for her.  After her mother’s death, she served as nurse at MSAD33 and at various health care facilities in the St. John Valley.  She was predeceased by her parents and, recently by her only sibling, Blanche Baker.  She is survived by her caregivers, Stella Ouellette and J. Paul and Cléo Ouellette, and many relatives and friends. Family and friends may call from 8:30 a.m. at Michaud Funeral Home in Frenchville until time of service.  A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2014, at St. Luce Catholic Church in Frenchville with Father Kent Ouellette officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to Our Lady of the Valley Parish, St. Joseph Nursing Home, or to a charity of one’s choice.
