James P. Chasse

In the evening of May 31st, 2021, James P. Chasse of St Agatha died at the age of 72. James was born to Albert and Anita Chasse in 1948. After graduating from Wisdom High School, he enlisted in the Army and served in the Vietnam War. He then went on to attend University of Maine, Fort Kent and received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He worked for the Dept. of Defense, Ft. Monmouth, NJ and started his career off as a Technical Writer and retired as a Program Manager in 2005. In August 1975 he married Carol Chasse, and together they raised two children, Kendra and Derek. James was a passionate person. He put his heart and soul into everything he did. He liked to keep himself busy and enjoyed his daily walks, reading, selling at local flea markets, gardening, planting flowers and the highlight of his life was in his retirement working on his land and spending time with nature. James is survived by his wife, Carol; his daughter Kendra; his son Derek, his brother Richard and three grandchildren, Vanessa, Liam and Kaiya.
