Jeannette Agie Michaud (Soucie), 78 passed away on November 20, 2017 at the Farm (Bobby’s home). She was surrounded by her family. She was born in Winterville, Maine January 27, 1939 to the late Jack and Abella (Boucher) Soucie. She was married the late Alcide Joseph Michaud (Pete). She was a homemaker and a mother of 6 children whom she loved? Our Mom has now been reunited with our dad and brother Gary.
Jeannette belonged to the Ladies of St. Anne. She attended card parties at Montfort Heights with friends and later attended card parties at the Madawaska Senior Center. She loved to be with people, whether it was family, a friend or a passer by. She attended Fort Kent High School up to the 10th grade and quit to go to work. She moved to Connecticut where she met the love of her life.
She is survived by her children all from Maine: Sandra Jean Gendreau (Joel) of Madawaska, Barbara Ann Cyr of Limestone, Rena Mary Daigle (Ron) of Sinclair, Peter (Paula)of Greene, Tina Marie Collins of Madawaska, Bobby (Brenda) of St. David. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren :Gary & Gerry Gendreau (Holly) of Madawaska, Danny Cyr Jr. (Amanda) of Limestone, Dennis Cyr (Morgan) of Grand Isle, Dana Cyr (Jessica) of St. David, Amy (Tardif) Pelletier (Jacque) of Fort Kent , Joey Tardif (Kelley) of Stonington, Aaron Michaud of Madawaska, Shane Michaud (Andrea) of Turner, Dylan Michaud of St. Agatha, Suzie Collins (Patrick Gendreau) of Grand Isle, Dennis Collins (Sydney) of Madawaska, Jack Michaud of St. Agatha and 11 great grandchildren : Issiah Gendreau, Danny Cyr III, Carter Hebert, Wyatt Cyr, Serraiah Cyr, Mason Cyr, Ashlyn Cyr, Peightyn Michaud, Jameson Michaud, Ronin Michaud, and Liam Collins, a sister Theresa Michaud (Claude) of Newington CT. Sister in law Tony (Michaud) Beaulieu of East Hartford CT, two brothers in law: Lionel Michaud of Frenchville, and Adrain Paradis of East Hartford CT.
Jeannette was predeceased by her husband Alcide (Pete), a son Gary, her parents Jack and Abella, one sister Shirley Paradis, two brothers Johnny and Doran.
Per Jeannette’s wishes, there will be no calling hours, you can give your condolences to the family before the mass 9:15 – 10:00 at Lady of the Valley in St. Agatha on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Donations can be made to Paradis Cancer Fund. Cards can be sent to her daughter Rena Daigle, PO Box 124, Sinclair Maine 04779. She will share with the family at a family gathering.
