John Dionne Obituary

John Patrick Dionne passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence in Santa Ana, California on July 30, 2020 at the age of 67. John was born on September 24, 1952 in Eagle Lake, Maine to the parents of Gerard and Viola Dionne.

John never married and is survived by his brothers and sisters; Nancy, Geraldine, Mike, Bob, Philip, Brian, Charles and Garold.

John graduated from Wisdom High School in St. Agatha, Maine in 1970. He attended college at Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute in Presque Isle, Maine from 1970 to 1972 and earned a degree in electronics engineering. He then went to work for Edgar’s TV in Madawaska, Maine for a short stint and decided to join his brother Lou in California.

After moving to California, John went to work at Uniloc for 20 years until he semi-retired at the age of 42. After leaving Uniloc, he continued working with his brother Philip at XCSservicing copier machines.

John also had a side business repairing televisions at home which expanded to fixing just about any electronic device at a very low price and became very popular with the locals.John also repaired homes for his brothers Lou, Mike and his nephew Dwayne were selling.

John also enjoyed going to the movies, playing pool, board games and he was an avid bowler and played in several leagues. John will be remembered as a very kind and gentle personby so many people and he would do anything to help family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at the St. Luce Cemetery in Frenchville, Maine on Friday, July 8 at 10:00am.
