Joseph L. Eddie Paradis, 70 died  peacefully at a Bangor Hospital May 23 , 2017. He was born in St. Agatha, Maine June 19, 1946 the son of the late Leo and Juliette 'Albert' Paradis.  He was a Disabled American Veteran, and member of the American Legion  and long time Knights of Columbus 4th degree. He was born and raised on Long Lake and continued to love the outdoors. He also loved to fish year round and hunt.  He is survived by his wife  of 33 years Barbara  'Dietrich' Paradis of Madawaska,, 2 daughters Barbara Osgood and Fiancé  Paul Soucy of St. David, Me, Kelly Dionne of Fort Kent, Me. 7 Grand children; Kylie,  Mathieu, Kaylee, Jessica , Celeste, Cameron, Shane, 4 Great Grand children  Justine,  Aaron. Bailey, Tucker. Two brothers Edward & Sue of Zebulon, N.C. and Philip of Madawaska, one sister  Gilda and Wayne Moshier of Frenchville, Me, and one brother in law Walter Corriveau. He was predeceased by his parents, one daughter Kim, one brother Camille, two sisters Joanne and Ida .  Friends and relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha, Friday May 26, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. till time of Services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Agatha Catholic Church with Rev. Kent Ouellette officiating. Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Caribou.
