Leo 'Jim' Picard

Leo J. (Jim) Picard, 84 of Madawaska passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in his final days.  Leo lost his battle with lung cancer on August 12, 2022.

Leo was born on October 20, 1937. He is predeceased by his parents, Michael and Anita (Boucher) Picard, sister Bernadette (Ti-Ti) Picard and brother Bobby Picard.

Leo was an avid fisherman, exceptional card player, and a master cribbage player. His last employment was at Fraser Paper.

Leo left behind a special friend, Sherlyn Birtles, his “Golden Girls” Diane and Lynda Picard, step-son Bryan Picard and wife Carla, step daughter, Ruby and her husband Paul Theriault.  Leo leaves a lasting legacy of four grandchildren, Tiffani Daigle, Olivia Picard, Riley Morneault and Brandon Picard as well as, three beautiful great grandsons, Kohen, Kaliz and Kolt Daigle.

At his request, there will be no memorial services.
