Leola Ouellette-Michaud passed away on August 22, 2022 in Fort Kent, ME.

She was born October 12, 1931 in Lille, Maine, the daughter of Denis & Sophie (Devost) Ouellette.

Leola was predeceased by her husband Gerard, a son, Carl Michaud in 2007, a daughter, Patricia Clingan in 2013, grandchildren, Stephanie and Christopher Wehunt, daughter-in-law Kathleen Michaud, sisters and brothers-in-law Carlene and Pat Albert, and Althea and Rudy Cyr.  Also, by a brother, Roland.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda M. Hill and husband Bob, and a son, James R. Michaud.  Grandchildren surviving Leola are Kasia Lynch, Aleksy Michaud, Kassandra Michaud, and Michelle Seese. Survivng great-grandchldren are Nicolas and Sophia Crouse, Adelyn and Elsie Lynch, and Ashton, Connor, and Olivia Michaud.

Funeral services handled by Michaud Funeral Home will be conducted Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 10:00am at the St. David Church..

There will be no calling hours at the Funeral Home but rather, visitation for an hour before the funeral at St. David Church. Interment will follow in St. David Cemetery.
