Lloyd Gagnon, 80, passed away on September 20, 2022 at Northern Maine Medical Center. He was born in Frenchville, Maine on December 8, 1941; son of the late David Gagnon and Eva Daigle Gagnon.
He is survived by his three children; daughters, Lisa Gagnon Arnoldy and her friend Brett Ward of St. David, Maine, Vicki Gagnon and her fiancé Dan Tilley of Castle Hill, Maine and son Jason Gagnon of Van Buren, Maine his special friend Louise Gendreau of Madawaska, Maine, as well as, his sister Jackie Paradis of Frenchville, Maine. He is pre-deceased by his wife and mother of his children, Verna Soucy Gagnon, four sisters, Rena Richards and Ruth Cyr of Frenchville, Maine and Doreen Keith and Roweena Husar of California and his brother Roger Gagnon of Columbia, South Carolina.
Lloyd was employed at Fraser Paper and Acadia Motors in Madawaska. He also served as a volunteer Firefighter for the Frenchville Fire Department. In the fall of the year, Lloyd always enjoyed working the Potato Harvest.
Many will remember Lloyd for his ability to make others laugh. He had a great love for animals, especially his Grand furbabies, Angus and Loki. Lloyd loved Hot Rod cars, especially Ford Mustangs. He loved music, sports and especially Basketball. Lloyd was a very positive, wonderful, caring loveable father, brother, uncle and friend. His presence will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022, at St. Luce Catholic Church. Friends and relatives may give their condolences to the family from 9:30 to 10:00 am at St. Luce Church. Burial will immediately follow the Mass in St. Luce Cemetery.
