Lucien Guerrette age 90 died peacefully at highview nursing home in Madawaska on March 23, 2022 ,he was born August 3. 1931 in St. Agatha, the son of the late Patrick and Lillian (Bosse) Guerrette. He lived in Grand Isle and worked for Cianbro and owned Rolande’s grocery store and gas station. He also worked for Morins Cabinets in Madawaska and later became self employed and owned a body shop, auto, truck and small engine repair shop. He was Trail Captain for the Cold Mountain Snowmobile Club in Grand Isle for several years. He was a 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus in Grand Isle, and was also greatly involved in his church and served as Eucharistic Minister. He also loved spending time with family. He loved snowmobiling, gardening, dancing, playing cards, tinkering with his cub cadet tractors, and hunting La Pliene in St. Agatha.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Rolande Cote Guerrette, sons Lucien “June” and wife Sharon of Frenchville, Mike and wife Diane of Madawaska, Kevin and wife Sylvie of St David, two grandchildren Derek of St David, Steve and his wife Brittni of Richmond ME, Three great grand children Carter, Easton and Isaac. Predeceased daughter Kathleen Guerrette. He is also survived by 6 brothers, Conrad and Nora of Gorham ME, Roland of Bristol, CT Berthier and Charlene of PLainville, Ct. Rosaire and Fiancé Sandra of Van Buren ME, Reginald and Pauline of St. Agatha, ME, Phillip and Glenna of St Agatha ME, also 5 sisters Marie May Pelletier of Lewiston ME, Lucille Albert of New Britain CT, Jeanine and Guildo Levesque of Saint Joseph NB. Loraine and Emmanuel Devost of Spring Hill FL, Marie Ouellette of Frenchville ME and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, one daughter, Kathleen Guerrette and three brother-in-laws, Maurice Pelletier, Jerry Albert, and Valerie(Pit) Ouellette,

A Memorial Service will be held on April 8 at 10:00am at the St. Gerard Catholic Church in Grand Isle, ME. Family and Friends may give their condolences from 9:00am until time of service,
