Lucille Paradis 98, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family July 15, 2019 at High View Manor in Madawaska, Me. She was born in St. Agatha, Nov. 9,1920 the daughter of Thomas & Anna (Gagnon) Tardif on April 19, 1938. She married her husband Raoul and they had 14 children. She lived in Frenchville most of her life where she raised her children. She was best known for supporting her community and was instrumental in in starting the Acadien Crafts and supporting the Edgar Paradis Cancer Fund. She was active in La Dame de Saint Anne & the Daughters of Isabella. She was a communicate at the St. Luce Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting & crocheting and loved gardening and her flowers
She is survived by 6 sons and their wives Roland & Phyllis of St. Agatha, Gerry and Deryl of Greenville, S.C., Robert & Lucy, Daniel & Doreen, Michael & Jackie, Lloyd & Judy and daughter- in-law Barbara all of Frenchville; Five Daughters & their husbands Therese & Roland St. Pierre of Van Buren, Me, Jacqueline & William Contois of Stuart, Fl., Francoise of Buxton, Me., Susan & Dave Morin of Madawaska, Me. Elizabeth & Chris Records of Alfred, Me. Two sisters Esther and Her husband James Gill of Cumberland, Me, Rita & her husband Bill Long of Chillicothe, Ohio, 27 grand children and 46 Great grand children and 1 great Great grandson Levi Pelletier and many nieces and Nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Raoul, 3 sons Edward, Edgar & Lawrence, 2 brothers Edgar & Armand; 3 sisters Priscille Paradis, Ivette Bosse and Mary Ann Lowney & her Parents.
Friends and Relatives may call at Michaud Funeral Home In St. Agatha Thursday, July 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 8:30 till time of Services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Luce Catholic Church, Burial in the St. Luce Cemetery. A special thanks to the kind & able staff at High View for the loving care they gave to Lucille. In lieu of flowers those who wish to remember Lucille in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Edgar Paradis Cancer Fund or a Charity of one's choice.
