Marie Leonie Deschaine 71, passed away on October 2, 2023, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in St. Jacques, New Brunswick on December 10, 1951, daughter of the late Leo and Yvette (Raymond) Rioux.

She is survived by her three daughters, Connie Violettte (Richard) of Siegas, NB., Shirley Deschaine and Tonia Deschaine both from Edmundston, NB.  Four grandchildren along with eight great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Three sisters Lea Levesque of Edmundston, NB, Rina Daigle of Verret, NB and Gloria Charest of Verret, NB.

Besides her parents Marie Leonie was predeceased by her husband Ronald Deschaine one sister Rita Bosse and one brother Lionel Rioux.

Friends and family may gather at 9:30 a.m. on Friday for condolences in the back of the St. David church following a celebration of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6.  Interment will take place immediately following the mass at the Parish Cemetery, St. David, ME
