Mariette Collin

Mariette (Bellefleur) Collin, 93 passed away on June 17, 2025, at a Health Care Facility in Van Buren.  Mariette was born Dec. 23, 1931, in Edmundston, N.B. Daughter of Jean Baptist and Alma (Charest) Bellefleur.  

Mariette is survived by one daughter Lily and her husband Steve Brooker of Eliot, Maine, three sons Bob and wife Joan of Caribou, Maine, John and wife Joanne of St. Agatha, Maine, Daniel & wife June of Frenchville, Maine, eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.  

Mariette was predeceased by her husband Gerard and her son Donald, one grandson, Anthony of Middletown, Conn., and a granddaughter Tammy of Saco, Maine, her parents, three brothers, Leo of California, Herman of Madawaska, Reno of Montreal, Quebec, two sisters Rita Plourde of Edmundston, N.B. & Marthe Mellieur of Montreal, Quebec.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Agatha Catholic Church, Thursday, June 19. Friends may greet the family at 9:30 a.m., at church before services. Burial will be at the St. Luce Cemetery in Frenchville, Maine
