Michael J. Daigle Obituary
Michael J. Daigle of Frenchville, ME passed away on February 5, 2021 after
a brief struggle with COVID-19. He was 68 years old.
Michael (Mike) was born on August 15, 1952 in Eagle Lake, ME. He was the son
of Ferdinand and Jeannette (Cyr) Daigle.
Those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him will remember
him as a fun-loving guy with a heart of gold. He was a trucker for many years, and
a man of many talents. He loved music and played the drums in a number of local
bands over the years. He was known by the handle of Jack Frost during his
trucking years. He was also an army veteran and served in Korea. He was a proud
member of the American Legion Post #145 in Frenchville, and a past Post Commander.
He was a born-again Catholic Christian. Mike loved camping andfishing on his brother’s
land in Green River, Canada. He also enjoyed living and working on his land in Frenchville,
overlooking the beautiful St. John River Valley. He will always be remembered for his
contagious smile and kind heart.
Mike is survived by a brother Ferdinand (Nooky) Daigle and his wife Nicole (Michaud)
Daigle, two sisters Marilyn Daigle Laferriere and Theresa Daigle Cyr, all from Madawaska
ME. He leaves behind many nephews, nieces and cousins. Michael was predeceased by
his sister Carilyn Daigle Gagnon of Madawaska and his brother George G. Daigle of
Green River, Canada.
Due to current restrictions no funeral services will be scheduled at this time. In lieu of a
traditional gathering, donations in Michael’s name may be made to the American Legion,
Cyr-Plourde Post #145, 319 US Rte 1, Frenchville, ME 04745
