Mona M. Michaud, at the age of 85, peacefully passed away on July 23, 2015 at Ridgewood Estates in Madawaska, ME.  She was born on Nov. 25, 1929 in Edmundston, NB., Canada to the late Aime (Pit) Nadeau and Alexia (Pelletier) Nadeau.

She was the wife of the late Donat 'Don' Michaud of St. Agatha.  They began their lives together in Connecticut.  After 18 years, they returned to St. Agatha, where they raised 6 children.

In 2007, Mona moved to Ridgewood Estates in Madawaska.  Mona was known at Ridgewood by the staff and residents as "so much fun who everyone loved to be around".  She enjoyed dancing and making everyone laugh.  She was a little woman with a big personality.

Mona is survived by 5 children,  Linda Gendreau of Greenville, SC., Dana and his wife Claire of St. Agatha, Dennis of St. Agatha, Dean and his wife Shelle of Phoenix, AZ., and Jennifer Maine and her husband Christian of Campton, NH., also 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.  Mona is also survived by her sister Jeanine Slupianek of Topeka, KS.

Mona is predeceased by her husband Donat 'Don' Michaud, her son Jimmy and her brother O'Neil (Ti homme) Nadeau.

A private burial service with close friends and family will be decided at a later date.
