Odette Pelletier 78, died peacefully January 7, 2022 at House of Comfort in Presque Isle after a long fight with cancer. She was born in St. Francis, New Brunswick, March 26, 1943, the daughter of Aurele and Viola ‘Landry’ Emond. Odette came to the United States at the age of 14 to start her working career. In 1966 she met the love of life, Joseph and moved to Connecticut. Started her family and held several jobs, moved back to Maine to open a restaurant, Dolly’s, in Frenchville which was her dream of 18 years. She is survived by her husband Joseph of 55 years, two sons, Bruce and Terri of St. Agatha, Keith and Tina of Edmundston, New Brunswick, one daughter Michelle and Kevin of New Britain, Connecticut. Five grandchildren Chad (Karolina), Dylan (Ankita), Megan, Cassandra, Sabrina and three great grandchildren, Kayden, Connor and Maxx. Survived by two brothers, Joel in Montreal ,P.Q. and Gerald, (Noella) in Gaspasie, P.Q, several nieces and nephews, brother in-laws and sister in-laws, and many numerous friends. Predeceased by three brothers, Roger, Roland and Marcel. Friends and relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha, Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Church in Madawaska, Friday, January 14 at 10:00 am.
