Patrick (Pat) Chasse passed away on December 15, 2022 at the age of 93.  He was predeceased by his loving wife, Alice Dufour Chasse on June 14, 2022, to whom he was married to for over 71 years.  Together they had one daughter, Aline Chasse Cyr, who predeceased them on July 16, 1991.  Surviving family members include granddaughter Vicky Cyr Legere and her husband RJ of Kennebunk, Maine,  grandson Ryan Cyr and his wife Isabelle of Arundel, Maine, great-grandchildren Zachary Stanhope, Kennady Cyr and Karter Cyr and sibling Jeanne d’Arc Dennett and her husband Johnny Dennett and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pat was an avid potato farmer for over 40 years who worked hard day and night to provide for his family. Aside from being a farmer, he was also a volunteer fire fighter for the Town of Frenchville for 12 years.  Pat was a member of the Knights of Columbus earning a  4th Degree.  He was also the ATV Trail Master for 12 years.  Other activities he enjoyed in his spare time also included hunting and fishing.  Pat could also be found in the spring time picking fiddleheads for the family.  Pat and Alice were married May 1, 1951 and worked side by side on their farm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 13 at 10:00am at St. Luce Catholic Church.  Burial will be at the St. Luce Cemetery.
