Paul Emile Therrien, 80 passed away peacefully on October 24, 2023, at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle, after a short battle from cancer.
He was born in Rivière Verte, NB on February 15,1943, the son of the late Alfred and Christine (Levasseur) Therrien.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Viola Deschaine Therrien. He is also survived by his loving daughter Noella and her husband  Christopher Chasse of Madawaska, ME.  A special grandson Nikalas Chasse whom he loved dearly and called him “garçon”. His brothers Ralphael (Aline) Therrien of Joliette Quebec, Enoil (Claire)Therrien of St. Joseph NB, Thomas Therrien of Rivière Verte NB. His sisters Regina Therrien of Edmundston, NB, Cecilia (Donald) Berube of Edmundston, NB, Marie (Jacques) Roy of Rivière Verte. Rose-Aimee Therrien, and  Irena Corbin of Quebec.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters Doria Therrien and Diana (Therrien) Levesque.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle, ME for all the extra attention and care that was given to him during his final days and also thank you to his  nurse from Aroostook Home Health Services. A very special thank you to their neighbor Alice Gendreau for being so helpful in their time of need.

Family and friends may offer condolences on Saturday November 4, 2023 from 8:30a.m. to 9:30a.m. at Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 10:00a.m.
