Pauline Collin, 76, died October 19, 2022 at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born August 4, 1946 in Frenchville, daughter of Joseph and Blanche (Morneault) Collin.
Pauline loved children, She spent countless hours taking care of other people’s children. She enjoyed working at Wisdom and Dr. Levesque Schools as a substitute teacher and then as an Ed Tech. She looked forward to her weekly card games and caramel frappes.
Surviving her are her three sisters, Alice Carpenter and her husband George of Frenchville, Claire Morin of Frenchville, and Helen Ayotte and her husband Clarence of Camp Verde, Arizona; her brother, Thomas Collin and his wife Pauline; her sister-in-law Natalie Collin; and nieces and nephews, Bertha, George, Keith, Cindy, Elena, Randy, and Julie. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Joseph Collin Jr. and Charles Collin.
The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Forest Hill for the care and companionship they provided to her in her final years and a very special thank you to Melissa Cyr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated October 29, 2022 at 10:00am at the St. Luce Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Luce Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in her memory to the Frenchville Historical Society.
