St. Agatha
Philip Guimond 78, died peacefully Feb. 10, 2016 at a Madawaska Health facility after a brief illness and is now living his 5th day. He was born in Edmundston, N.B. on Aug. 21, 1937 the son of Albert & Anysie 'Daigle' Guimond. He was a member of the 4th Degree K of C of St. Agatha, Maine. He retired after 21 years from DOT. He enjoyed Trucking and riding his ATV & enjoyed looking on the lake for his Ducks. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Constance "Dumond' of St. Agatha, two sons Ronnie and his wife Lisa of Virginia and Steve and Lynn of St. Agatha. Five Grand Children Cullen, Ryan, Elizabeth and Andrew and Seth and his wife Amanda. He is survived by three brothers Robert of N. Y. , Patrice of Bangor, Maurice of Barrington, N. H. and three sisters Clair of Maryland, Michelle of N. C. and Suzelle of Fort Kent, Me. He was predeceased by his parents, and three brothers Leon, Kenneth and Raymond. Friends & relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha Sunday Feb. 14, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m, and Monday Feb. 15, 2016 8:30 a.m. till 9:45. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. James Plourde officiating. Condolences may be sent to www.michaudfuneralhomes.com.
