Reginald Beaulieu Obituary

Reginald “Blanc” Beaulieu, 77, of St. Agatha, Maine, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, at St. Joseph Memory Care Center in Frenchville, Maine. He was born on January 14, 1948, in St. Agatha to the late Levite and Isabelle (Chamberland) Beaulieu. A lifelong resident of St. Agatha, Reginald was a man deeply connected to his roots and the natural beauty surrounding his beloved hometown. Known affectionately as “Blanc,” he cherished the simple joys of life—early mornings on his front porch, rocking gently as he gazed out at the lake, always taking the time to appreciate nature’s gifts. Reginald worked tirelessly throughout his life as a seasonal laborer for local farmers, contributing to the planting and harvesting of potatoes and constructing thousands of barrels in the off-season. Later, he became a trusted handyman, always ready to help neighbors with odd jobs and clearing snow from rooftops during harsh Maine winters. A gifted craftsman, Reginald was best known for his exceptional skill in barrel-making. His artistry went beyond utility; he created miniature replicas transformed into planters, mailboxes, and trunks—each piece a reflection of his creativity and care. Devoted to service, Reginald was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He proudly served as a 4th Degree Knight and held the role of Grand Knight for four consecutive years. The organization became a cornerstone of his social life and a testament to his commitment to community. Reginald was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Yvette (and her husband's Sylvio Pelletier and Camille Cyr), Gladys Beaulieu, and Cecile Marquis and her husband Norman “Bee” Marquis; and brothers Clarence Beaulieu and his wife Giselle (Robichaud) Beaulieu, and Ronaldo Beaulieu. He is survived by two brothers: Fernand Beaulieu and his wife Jacqueline (Blanchette) Beaulieu of St. Agatha, and Gerard Beaulieu and his companion Rose Marie Cyr of Terryville, Connecticut. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in St. Agatha.  A luncheon will follow the celebration of life.
