Richard Rossignol 77, died peacefully surrounded by family July 2, 2023 at a local health care facility. He was born January 20, 1946 in Guerrette, ME. Richard was the son of Wilfrid and Alvina (Poisonier) Rossignol. He is survived by his loving wife Lucille of 54 years; two sons Richard and wife Lisa of San Angelo, TX, Ryan and wife Michelle of Jeffersonton, VA, and daughter Laura and husband Darren of  Vassalboro, ME.  Six grandchildren Chris, Dustin, Brianna, Jonathon, Jenna and Emma; and two great grandchildren Lynley and Dustin Jr.  Two sisters Geri Goranson and Joana Hamilton and one brother Danny; and several nieces and nephews.

Richard worked over 25 years for the Maine Department of Transportation. Prior to that,  he worked several years as a farmer and a farmhand for family and local farmers. Richard was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, North Lakes Fire & Rescue volunteer, as well as a member of the Senior Citizens of Cross Lake & Sinclair. Richard truly enjoyed playing cards with family and friends; it didn’t matter if it was Charlemagne, Cribbage or Uno. He enjoyed the fun and laughter during gatherings and being an outstanding mentor to many. 

Family and friends may offer their condolences at Michaud's Funeral Home in St. Agatha on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 6-8 pm.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday July 6, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church In Sinclair, ME.

He was predeceased by his parents and his eldest sister Geneva Goranson.
