Rina M Soucy

Rina M. Soucy, 86 died peacefully May 17, 2022 at the Fort Kent Hospital after a brief illness.

Rina was born in St. David, Maine, August 11, 1935, the daughter of Joseph D. and Josephine ‘Dufour’ Lagasse.

Rina is predeceased by her husband, Gerard Soucy.  She is survived by two sons and four daughter; Jim and wife Pierrette, of Madawaska, Michael of Winterport, Shirley and husband Robert Paradis of Oxford, Maine, Judy and husband Tom Pettengill of Southington, Connecticut, Debbie Alers of Meriden, Connecticut, and Sharon Soucy of Meriden, Connecticut.  Rina leaves a lasting legacy of 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two sisters and one brother, Cecile Fournier of St. Basile, Canada, Joan Winfrey of Madawaska, and Armand Lagasse of Madawaska.

Rina was a life time member of the Ladies of Ste. Anne of St. David.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2022 in the St. David Church in St. David, Maine.  Burial will be held at a later date in the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou. On-line condolences may be conveyed on the "Tribute Wall" located at the top of this page.
