Rinette M (Sirois) Pelletier Duplessis

Rinette M. Pelletier Duplessis, 81 of Frenchville Maine, passed away peacefully on
Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at her son’s residence, after a courageous battle
with cancer, with family by her side. Rinette was born in Frenchville on March 26,
1943. The Daughter of Sylvio and Laurette (Rossignol) Sirois.
Rinette graduated from Madawaska High School and worked several years until
retirement at Fraser Papers. Rinette had a love for music. She loved to sing and
play her guitar with her family and friends. She and her late husband Roderick
would perform at Bluegrass festivals and at community gatherings. Rinette was a
very devout Catholic who influenced others with her strong faith.
She was predeceased by her first husband Roderick Gordon Pelletier, second
husband Richard Duplissis, and her daughter Deana M (Pelletier) Orth, as well as
several siblings; Patrick Sirois, Rosaire Sirois, Philip Sirois, Pauline Saucier, and
Priscilla Marquis.
Rinette is survived by her son Glenn Pelletier, his wife Rhonda and their three
daughters; Ashley Pennington, Chelsea Pelletier-Yermak, and Emily Pelletier. Two
grandsons; Nicholas Orth , Anthony Orth and son in law James Orth. Rinette is
also survived by six siblings; Sylvia Cyr, Adrien Sirois, Jaqueline Albert, Claire
Michaud, Rachel Albert, and Gilman Sirois. As well as seven great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Friends
and relatives may give their condolences to the family from 9:30 to 10:00 am at
the St. David Catholic Church. There will also be calling hours for friends and
relatives on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Michaud’s
Funeral Home in St Agatha Maine. Interment will be at St David Cemetery.
