Rino Landry
Rino Landry, 67, died May 17, 2019 in Laconia, N.H. He was born in Edmundston, N.B. on June 13, 1951, son of Arthur “Babe” and Irma Landry of St. Agatha, ME. After graduating from Wisdom High School he spent most of his years at various jobs in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He worked for many years for the State of New Hampshire in the Department of Health and Human Services providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities, acquired brain disorders and in need of mental health services. While working for Acute Psychiatric Services in Concord, N.H. he was chosen as the state’s Mental Health Worker of the Year. Rino enjoyed music, photography and gardening.
He is survived by his mother, Irma Landry of St. Agatha, by his partner of over thirty years, George Boissoneault of Laconia, two brothers; Robert of St. Agatha, and Louis and his companion, Joyce of Madawaska; two sisters, Mary Michaud of St. Agatha and Doris and her husband Gary Stevens of Fort Kent. He is also survived by six nieces; Sarah Landry of St. Agatha, Nika and her husband Lee Day and their son, Levi of Exeter, ME., Heather and her husband Chris Huston and their two children, Drake and Brynn of Fort Kent, Amelia and her husband Brent Stoliker and their son Grant of Fort Kent, Abby Stevens and companion Kyle Daigle of Bangor, Tonya Michaud and companion Andrew Marquis and their two boys, Tanner and Drew of St. Agatha, and by his nephew Jake Stevens and his wife Jay and daughter, Janelle of New York City. He was predeceased by his father Arthur “Babe” Landry and his sister, Charlene of Fort Kent.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being made by Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha. Committal Services will be held at a later date at St. Agatha Lower Cemetery in St. Agatha.
