Bobby is predeceased by parents, Reginald and Emelda (Cyr) Tardif and brother Nelson. He has three surviving siblings, Jean Guy Tardif (and family), Dick Tardif (and family) and Lise Gervais (and family). And a special nod to Nelson's children Jeff, Becky, and Cindy. (Love you Crystal)
Connecticut played a major part in Bobby’s life, working and residing there for over 29 years. After meeting Janet, the love of his life, they decided to return home to St. Agatha, Maine in 2006.
Those who knew Bobby never knew what was going to come out of his mouth. Bobby was a good-natured man, always ready with a “come back”. As Janet’s sister, SueZ knew very well from her many visits up from Connecticut. Bobby had a HUGE heart, always ready to help those in need and delighted in the simple treasures of life;a great dog (Bentley), a great wife (Janet), and a great circle of friends (Freddy Cyr, James Raymond, and the list goes on.)
Bobby’s morning routines were important to him. There was no better way to start the day than to have Bentley next to him in the front seat of the truck heading to Roy’s for coffee and conversation, then off to visit with James. His friends have many fond memories in their hearts of snowmobiling and a bit of good old-fashioned mischief.
Janet will be carrying out Bobby’s final wishes to be cremated. Arrangements are in the care of Michaud Funeral Homes of St. Agatha, Maine.
A grand Celebration of Life will be announced later. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Robert Tardif to the A.S.P.C.A. (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)
