     Romauld Plourde, 85 died peacefully April 21, 2017 at his daughter’s residence surrounded by his family.  He was born Feb. 7, 1932 the son of Fred and Marie 'Bard' Plourde. He served in the US Army in Korea.  He was also a member of the American Legion Post 165 of Frenchville. He worked for Berce Farms until his retirement.  He is survived by seven daughters and their husbands Norma Theriault of Caribou, Deborah & Cam Sirois of Plainville, Ct., Maureen Plourde and Doreen & Ron Slosser both of S. C., Elizabeth & Phil Bourgoin of Madawaska, Me., Tina & Roger Holly of Ct. and Lisa and Jim Frotten of  S.C , 9 Grand Children and 9 Great Grand Children. He was predeceased by his wife Irma in 2013, one son Edward and two sisters Muriel and Claudette.  A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 6 at the St. Agatha Church at 10:00am. Calling hours will be from 8-9:45am. until time of Service.  Burial will be in the St. Agatha Lower Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements by Michaud Funeral Home.
