Romeo P. Bellefleur, 84, passed away on April 27, 2021 in the comfort of his home while surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Madawaska on April 30, 1936 to Sophie (Chabre) and Adolphe Bellefleur. Romeo served in the Army’s combat infantry during the Korean conflict. Romeo’s children and family were his life and he loved them dearly. He enjoyed watching wrestling, Western shows, and the History Channel. Even more, he loved dancing with the love of his life, Ida, cooking meals for his family like Teddy Bear Soup, spaghetti, and chicken stew and making others laugh.
Romeo is predeceased by his beloved wife Ida of 48 years, and grandson, Joseph Jean Rodriguez. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Dana) Babin; his two sons, John (Deborah) Bellefleur and Leroy (Kim) Bellefleur; his seven grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Nadeau, Chelsy Bellefleur, Trevor Bellefleur, Taylor Rodriguez, Ryan Rodriguez, Melanie Bellefleur, and Bailey Bellefleur; and his three great –grandchildren, Lillian Bellefleur, Evan Nadeau, and Milaina Nadeau.
