Romeo Bouchard, Son of the late Hubald and Helen 'Ouellette' Bouchard of Frenchville, passed away at an assisted living Facility on his ninety first birthday, December 1, 2019.

He leaves behind  his loving wife, Rita, after seventy one years of marriage. Also,  two daughters, Lillian from Chester, New Hampshire, Linda and her husband, Russell,, from Old Orchard Beach, two sons John and his wife Robin, from Robbinston, and Phil and his wife Linda of Saint Agatha, two siblings, Rita Dubay from Prior Lake,  MN and Jeanette Morin from Vernon, Ct. He was predeceased by his loving son,  his inseparable buddy, David, and his son in law, Guy Picard. He was also predeceased by his sisters,  Gilberte, Lillian, Cecile, Therese, and brothers, Aurelle, Leonide, Euclide, Clifford and Louis.  He adored his grandkids, Troy and Amy, Bruce, Helen, Elise and Paul, Craig and Chad. Also his great grandkids, Cynthia, Jonathan, Lucy, Emma, Jason, Ethan, Kirstin, Jacob and Robyn, Sebastien, Loren,  Sawyer, Tate, Violet, Aspen, Austin, Jocelyn and Mckenzie.

Our dad was a loving and compassionate husband to our Mom, was a great caretaker for his mother and  his son, David. He encouraged his children through their our personal ambitions and was proud of their accomplishments. He was a devoted member of his community and church, always available when needed whether it  be passing out lunches to the elderly for the Meals on Wheels, helping to  prepare funeral lunch meals, or painting at the church during renovations to name a few. Dad started out his work career  making cedar potato barrels for the Paradis Brothers in Frenchville for a few years, then worked for Fraser Paper for many years in the Bond Shipping Dept. He will be remembered for his elaborate Christmas displays at his home which became known as the  Gingerbread House. We will always remember the huge Christmas  star  attached to the chimney that came tumbling down with the chimney on a stormy windy night.  He was an avid snowmobiler and ATV rider and was involved in both clubs. Back in the Day, He was member of the Frenchville Cross Country Ski Club. Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Ridgewood Estates, our little angels, for their  devoted care and compassions for our Dad. He loved you all and we admire all of you especially during his last few days.  You shared our tears and our joy during his stay at Ridgewood. A memorial service will be held at Ridgewood Estates June 27, 2020. Contributions may be made to Ridgewood Estates for the activity fund at 480 Ridgeview Avenue, Madawaska, Maine 04756.
