Therese (Chamberland) Chasse

 Therese Chasse, 87 passed away Aug. 14, 2017 at St. Joseph Memory Care Center in Frenchville.  She was born August 6, 1930 in St. Agatha the daughter of Belone and Marie "Marquis" Chamberland.  Therese worked at Northern Trading, the Water District and Madawaska Library for many years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and Ladies of St. Anne.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.   She is survived by two sons  and their wives Philip and Diane of Lille, Jeffery and Cathy of  Madawaska, two daughters and their Husbands Diane and Bob Gagnon of  Easton , Me. and Sharon and Dennis  Hebert of St. David, Me.  seven Grand Children and 8 Great Grand Children.  One sister Rena Lizotte of Madawaska, Me.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Edward (Bee) Chasse, one daughter Elaine, one daughter in law Doreen, seven brothers:  Armand, Conrad, Warren, Louis, Abel, Roland Roger,  and 4 sisters Annie Albert,  Lucina Plourde, Mathilda Ouellette and Rita St. Amant.

There will be no calling hours.   Friends and Relatives may give their condolences to the Family at the St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle from 9:00 a.m.  to 10:00 a.m. Thursday  August 17 . A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Gerard Church Grand Isle with Rev. James Albert officiating.  Burial in the St. Gerard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s/Dementia  Association 383 US Route One Suite 2 C, Scarborough, Me 04074 envelopes available at the Church.
