Una T. Daigle, passed away peacefully Nov. 30, 2023 at the age of 89. Born to Jean Baptiste and Catherine (Nadeau) Theriault of New Canada Plantation.  Una was one of eleven siblings all predeceased except two sisters Viola Belanger and Thelma (Rena) Beliveau.

Surviving are her children  Allen (Melinda) Daigle, Lynda (Michael) Ouellette, Judy (James) Bouchard, Kate (Raymond) Hebert, Louise (Tim) Speed, Lisa (Phil) St. Jean, Andrew (Lynn) Daigle, along with 31 Grandchildren and 32 Great Grandchildren whom she all loved so dearly. 

Predeceased by her husband, Conrad P.  Daigle of 47 years and her two sons Jerry and Danny Daigle, one grandson Aaron Ouellette.

Una and her husband Conrad, started the successful Una's Restaurant in 1968 which was built as a family business for 19 years.

Una was a founding  member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 147, Ladies of St. Anne, and Daughters of Isabella.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on December 14, 2023 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church In Madawaska, ME at 10:00 a.m.  Friends and family may offer condolences at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha, ME on December 13, from 6:00 pm to 8 pm and on December 14, from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. Internment will be in the Spring.
