Valere Guerrette , 84 died peacefully at a Madawaska Health Facility May 25, 2014. He was born in St. Agatha Feb. 21, 1930 the son of Bert & Bertha Guerrette. He was a 4th Degree K of C & Grand Knight. He Retired from Fraser Paper after 39 years of service, delivered meals on wheels for many years, loved gardening.
He is survived by two sons James and his wife Diane of Frenchville, Gary and his wife Nicole of Bristol, Ct. One daughter Louise Brown of Madawaska. Five Grand Children Alicia, Scott & Ryan of Bristol, Ct. & Stacey of Hawaii , Troy & wife Amie , and a Great Grand Daughter Alli Guerrette of Alberta Canada . He is survived by two brothers Christian & his wife Carmen and Gerald both of St.Agatha, and one Sister Irma Caron of Hartford, Ct. He was predeceased by his parents & his wife Blanche Dufour.
Friends and Relatives may call at the Michaud Funeral Home in Frenchville from 8a.m to 9:45 a.m. on Friday May 30th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Luce Catholic Church with the Rev. James Plourde Officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made the Edgar Paradis Cancer Fund. Envelopes are available at the Funeral Home.
