William John Maxfield, 55 died unexpectedly Jan. 19, 2013 at his residance. He was born in Rutland, Vermont, Jan. 15, 1958 the son of Ira Henry & Mary Anita ‘Smith’ Maxfield. William graduated from Fair Haven Union high school in 1976, Enlisted in 1977 and then retired as a SFC Army National Guard in 2008, graduated from the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences in Fort Sam Houston, and from Putnam Memorial Hospital School of Practical Nursing as a L.P.N. In 1985. He also did ceramic installation & flooring. He is survived by his wife of 32 years June Dara ‘Nelson’ Maxfield of Madawaska, Me., One son Shawn Mathew of Madawaska, one daughter Desiree Ann Maxfield and her partner Joshua Burlingame of Madawaska. Three grand children Alissa Dara Ballard, Mason William Maxfield, Brianna Evans Rushlow , one sister Claudia and her husband Gordon Stacey of Fair Haven, Vermont, and several special In-Laws and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Parents and one Grand Daughter Nathalie Jade Maxfield. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00a.m. Friday Jan. 25, 2013 at Mont
Carmel Church in St. David with the Rev. Jacques Laplante officiating. Friends and relatives may meet with family at the church from 10:00 a.m, till time of services.
